Liquor Licence Acts
The sale of liquor pursuant to the offer to purchase from this website is made from our licensed premises attached to the licence numbers 36135560 / 33765918. Your contract of sale is with The Pisco People on behalf of Inti Imports Pty Ltd. Accordingly, your offer to purchase is subject to acceptance of your offer by the holder of the liquor licence, certification and evidence of you being over 18 years of age, the availability of stock and the purchase item which is the subject matter of your offer.
Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is against the law to supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years (Penalty exceeds $6,000) and/or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor (Penalty exceeds $500). By using this site you affirm that you are over the age of 18.
The Pisco People reserve the right to request further information such as photo ID and credit card information for validation of age, identity and address for security purposes. Failure to comply with requests for further information may result in cancellation of the order in question.
Ordering
When placing an order via The Pisco People website, you confirm that all the details that you have provided in completing the order and offer to purchase are true and correct.
Cancellations
You cannot change or cancel your order after it has been dispatched. Please contact sales@thepiscopeople.com.au to determine if your non dispatched order can be amended.
Refunds
Our Returns Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (see below) and provides you with additional benefits in addition to those rights, because your satisfaction is important to us. The Pisco People will endeavour to resolve any issues with regard to Refunds & Replacements with a 100% money back guarantee. In certain exceptional circumstances, we will reserve the right to not accept returns or offer refunds. This will be at our discretion.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law;
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.’
If in the event your purchase is faulty, damaged or breaches a consumer guarantee we will cheerfully refund your money or exchange the product upon presentation of your proof of purchase and at least ¾ of the original faulty bottle.
Delivery charges will be reimbursed when The Pisco People is at fault. That is, if the wrong product is delivered, there is a fault with the product (including any damage caused in transit) or we have breached a consumer guarantee. In all other instances, including change of mind, the delivery charge will be deducted from the refund to the customer.
For a no fault exchange of a delivered product, additional delivery charges will be incurred at your expense.
All change of mind returns must be in their original condition and packaging.
Delivery
It is your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at time of ordering. If you enter the wrong address, we are not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.
Any deliveries requiring redelivery, or redirection from an address provided by yourself to a new address provided by the recipient, will incur an additional charge.
Our deliveries will be shipped:
- Using Australia Post or our preferred courier service at our discretion
- Within 2 – 6 business days, depending on your location.
- With a signature required upon delivery unless an authority to leave agreement has been made.
PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 14 DAYS FOR DELIVERY WITHIN AUSTRALIA. Most deliveries will be complete much sooner than this. Please email us at sales@thepiscopeople.com.au if you have any questions about the date of dispatch and delivery for the products you have purchased
Promotions
Promotional vouchers cannot be:
- Exchanged for cash;
- Used in conjunction with one another;
- Re-used on another transaction, or
- Partially used across multiple orders.
